I like autumn when it comes at the right time. At the time when I have the feeling it's time for ripeness and coziness. I like the bright sun coming through the thick clouds which almost seem to scrape the building roofs. I like the frequent rainbows and rain patting on windowsills. I like the bitter smell of rotten plums and apples in the grass. The sticking gladiolus and rich asters in the gardens and market buckets.
I like how autumn comes into my house. Bowls with red and black currents, plums and billberies, and apples pile on my kitchen table. Sweet jam aroma lingers in the air. Yellow and green marrows outrival the place of wine bottles in the wine racks. Beans and mushrooms wait their moment to be cooked.
I just like autumn.
